Couperose treatment: a treatment for couperose-prone skin and early-stage rosacea

Couperose treatment: a treatment for couperose-prone skin and early-stage rosacea

Strengthening of blood vessels using active ingredients. The treatment soothes and moisturizes the skin. It is recommended for redness, couperose-prone skin, visible capillaries (telangiectasia), and early-stage rosacea.

Couperose-prone skin is characterized by temporary or persistent redness on the cheeks, as well as on the chin and forehead. The skin reacts quickly to stimuli such as temperature changes, stress, or mechanical irritation. It may feel like sharp stinging, burning, tingling, and/or itching.

During the treatment, active ingredients are delivered to strengthen blood vessels and soothe and hydrate the skin. The Sobye massage is also used to improve the flow of tissue fluids.

Effects:

  • Prevents inflammation, capillary fragility, and redness
  • Stimulates microcirculation and reduces unpleasant discomfort
  • Inhibits the growth and formation of new blood vessels

Treatment duration:

  • Face and neck – approx. 65 minutes
  • Face, neck, and décolleté – approx. 81 minutes

The collagen sheet consists of almost 100% pure collagen. Thanks to its unique structure, it can hold a large amount of water and release it gradually. Collagen molecules enhance the skin’s ability to retain moisture, leading to noticeable smoothing and strengthening of the skin. Collagen peptides act as mediators and positively influence tissue renewal and cell metabolism. They also support the skin's healing processes and help relieve irritation more quickly.

The concept of neurocosmetic care includes VEGFstop – an active ingredient derived from the leaves of the Tambourissa trichophylla plant, which grows in the highlands of Madagascar. The main components of the extract are polyphenols, rutin, condensed tannins, and nicotiflorin.

The treatment consists of 8 steps:

  • Cleansing – preparation, removal of makeup and impurities.
  • Peeling – removal of dead skin cells, stimulation of natural skin renewal, preparation for further care.
  • Circulation – stimulation of microcirculation, activation, oxygenation, and nourishment of tissues. (This step is skipped for very sensitive skin or rosacea.)
  • Sobié massage – a special massage technique for rosacea-prone skin developed by Dr. Paul Sobié, which improves lymphatic drainage.
  • Application of serum – active ingredients for couperose therapy are applied.
  • Collagen fleece – hydrates, soothes, and smooths the skin.
  • Toning – conditioning and balancing the skin's pH.
  • Finishing care – application of a nourishing cream.
